When does these the Scream Park open?
Pure Terror Scream Park is open from Saturday, September 21st, 2024, through Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. “Click here“ to find out more about our operating information, including details on dates and times.

CAN I CHANGE MY TICKET DATE?
Yes, our 3rd party online ticketing company has a change ticket service fee of $18.50 per ticket plus NYS sales tax of $1.50 per ticket. All tickets will be charged a ticket change fee of $20.00 for each ticket needing to be rescheduled to a different date. Ticket change is subject to availability and must be made 24 hours before the original date. Email [email protected] and/or DM on Instagram @PureTerrorScreamPark for ticket date change inquiries.
Are your attractions open if it rains?
YES, we only close under extreme circumstances (Hurricane, High Winds, etc.). Announcements will be made on our Website, Instagram and FaceBook pages. Pure Terror is open rain or shine unless there is unforeseen extreme weather.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?
No! We do run summer discount sales, make sure you follow us on Instagram and Facebook @pureterrorscreampark to find out about these special deals.

Is there a dress code?
Halloween costumes, masks and face paint are prohibited. Guests wearing costumes will be turned away. Closed toed shoes are recommended for your safety. Sandals, flip flops and high heels are highly discouraged. Any large backpacks, luggage, shopping bags or promotional items will not be permitted.
Are the haunted attractions the same every year?
No, each year we redesign and/or upgrade the Scream Park so that there’s always a new experience for our returning guests. We provide Hollywood style props, set designs and special effects to bring the scariest Haunted House to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut.
Do you sell Pure Terror souvenirs?
Yes, we sell Pure Terror t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, glow in the dark souvenirs. Located in the Food Court at the Terror Shop!
What can’t we bring inside your haunted attractions?
No purses or backpacks! No smoking! No electronic cigarettes, vapes, etc. No cameras! No alcoholic beverages! No Lighters! No pets! No weapons! No food or beverages! No laser pointers or flashlights! And please turn off or mute your phones and enjoy the scares! Entry will not be permitted to anyone in a mask or face paint!
EVERYONE will go through a security screening (walk through metal detectors) before entering the Scream Park. If you have any lighters, matches, pocket knifes, box cutters, guns or any other weapons will not be allowed inside the park.
Please don’t try to bring any of these items into the park. This is for your safety as a guest to our park and to keep our staff safe. We want everyone to have a fun and safe night out. That’s why we have members of law enforcement and our security team onsite to make sure everyone is safe. Pure Terror has security cameras all over the park and inside the haunted attractions.
Can we take pictures or video of your haunted houses?
Photography of any sort is NOT allowed inside any of the haunted attractions. You are welcome (and encouraged) to take pictures and video anywhere outside of the attractions such as in our midway with the monsters photo ops. Anyone caught taking pictures and/or video inside any of the haunted attractions will be escorted off the property immediately without refund. We will not allow anyone to disrupt other guests experience. You will be ejected from the park with no refund! No exceptions!
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking, electronic cigarettes, vapes, lighters, etc. are NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the property. You will be asked to leave the park with no refund! No exceptions!
Do you serve food?
Yes, we have a new monster food court with some of the best food vendors the tri-state area has to offer!
Do you serve alcohol?
Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property. We reserve the right to refuse entry to ANYONE at ANYTIME that is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. This is for the safety of our staff and customers.
Can I be injured at the park?
Running is the main cause of minor injuries. Please make sure to follow the rules and DON’T run to ensure a safe and memorable experience! Your ticket is a license to enter at your own risk! All patrons assume ALL risk, Death and DANGER incidental to Pure Terror Scream Park before, during or after the event. By entering Pure Terror Scream Park, you waive any injury, Death or talent claims and accept these terms and conditions. We STRONGLY suggest that heels and/or open toe shoes NOT be worn. You will not be allowed into the attractions!
Can we be thrown out of the park for any reason?
YES, Pure Terror Scream Park has the right to refuse entry to the property for any reason deemed unsafe to the safety of our staff & guests. If a guest is not following the rules of the Scream Park and putting themselves and other at risk or in danger causing harm to themselves and or others they will be ejected with No Refunds! No Exceptions! (This is for everyone’s safety) Please follow our safety rules!
Does your haunted house attraction have security?
YES, The Pure Terror Security Team is one of the best in the industry. Upon entry to the scream park, each person will be thoroughly checked and go through our metal detectors for the safety of our staff and customers. Please leave all lighters, alcohol, pocket knives/weapons, guns, tasers, anything that’s illegal leave it at home or in your vehicle. No exceptions. You will not be allowed in!
Are there any hotels close to Pure Terror Scream Park and do they have special rates for your visitors?

Can the actors touch you?
NO!!! Actors may get close but they will not touch you.
Once I’ve used my Ticket can I use it to visit again?
NO, a new ticket is required for each visit.
Is there a lot of FOG in the haunted attractions?
YES, Pure Terror has fog machines in operation.
Can I go into the haunted attractions if I’m pregnant?
Pure Terror is not recommended for guests who are pregnant, have heart conditions or are in general poor health.
Is Pure Terror wheelchair accessible?
No, Pure Terror is located in the woods with inclines, declines and outdoor terrain which would make wheelchair access very difficult. We are considered a seasonal amusement device therefore our event is not required to be ADA compliant in the state of New York. No wheelchairs , No walking canes, No leg cases. The haunted attraction is a very long walk and requires our guests to be able to navigate on there own walking at a normal pace to safely complete the haunted attractions. This is a self guided haunted house attraction.
Are there any age restrictions?
Due to the nature and strong themes of our attractions, Pure Terror Scream Park is recommended for adults, teens and Children who love horror and haunted houses. Admission of Children under 8 will be at the discretion of the parent(s). Parents know their children better than anyone else, we leave it up to you to make that choice. Pure Terror Scream Park DOES NOT offer special prices for children. There are no refunds for ANYONE who decides to not wait in line or that does not finish the haunt because there to scared or for any other reason. Pure Terror has many emergency exits in case anyone gets too scared to continue the haunted houses. Carrying babies though the Haunted Attraction IS NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! NO EXCEPTIONS! PARENTS PLEASE NO BABY’S THIS IS A LOUD SCARY ENVIRONMENT! Not meant for anyone under the age of 8 Years old! We do leave that up to the parents but if a child can not walk on her or his own they shouldn’t be in a haunted attraction. Yes, it’s scary that’s what we do! Scare People.

YES, We want to make sure you have a scary and fun time with your family and friends.
Park Closure & Ticket Information
Pure Terror Scream Park has 13 Haunted House Attractions both indoor & outdoor elements, we cannot control the weather. In the unlikely event that weather forces Pure Terror Scream Park to close for the evening, all existing tickets must be exchanged for a Rain check ticket before exiting the park that can be used on any other night for the remainder of our current season. All patrons acknowledge and accept that tickets must be used for the 2024 season…NO REFUNDS! NO EXCEPTIONS! TICKETS MUST BE USED THE SAME SEASON!
